Pint Sized Wisdom

Have you listened to a kid lately? Really listened? Kids are amazing! How they see the world is so hopeful, joyful, and filled with possibility.

I saw this video on Monday and it made me smile. It gave me a little boost as well. I dare you to watch and not be lifted up by it.

Between 1952 and 1970, Art Linkletter interviewed more than 20,000 kids at the end of each “House Party” show, in the segment called, “Kids say the darndest things.” It’s true, chubby cheeked, sippy cup in hand, kids really do think and speak their truth. The authenticity is moving.

Find a little kid in your life — a grandkid, niece, nephew, your own kid, or a neighbor’s kid — ask them something simple like, “what are you most thankful about today,” or “what makes you proud about yourself today?” It is very likely they will say something extraordinary, something that gives you a little burst of joy, inspiration and hope.
