Getting to the heart of HOPE

by Jan on July 22, 2011

Regular readers of this blog remember me taking issue with Ann Patchett following her recent appearance in the Twin Cities (Hating Hope? on June 30).  Well, I’m not the only one who did not agree with Ms. Patchett’s take on HOPE.  Kerri Miller, on whose “Midmorning” radio show the remarks were made, felt so strongly about it that she dedicated Wednesday’s program to the topic.  Kerri brought in two globally respected experts, Sister Joan Chittester and Bishop John Shelby Spong to illuminate the conversation.

I encourage you to listen to the discussion.   This program is emblematic of the level of discourse and insight this blog seeks provide on the topic of HOPE.  What do you have to add to this conversation?
